ERB to gradually resume more classroom training after Chinese New Year

The Employees Retraining Board (ERB) announces that more ERB courses in classroom training mode will be resumed from 22 February 2021 onwards, covering over 500 courses with no and only limited human contacts, representing about 80% of all ERB courses, of which 327 are courses under the “Love Upgrading Special Scheme 3”.  Meanwhile, a hybrid mode of classroom training and online learning will continue be implemented with 355 online courses currently in offer.

ERB encourages training bodies to adopt smaller class setting and all training bodies must implement a host of precautionary measures in compliance with the “Guidelines on Precautionary Measures against COVID-19” issued by ERB.  Individual training bodies may adjust the class resumption arrangements with respect to their own situation and at their discretion, and the latest information announced by the training bodies concerned shall prevail.

ERB will monitor the progress of the class resumption and the pandemic development, and further assess the feasibility of resuming classroom training of more courses.  Announcements will be made in due course.

Should trainees and members of the public have any enquiries, please contact respective training bodies direct, or call the ERB hotline 182 182 or visit the ERB website: www.erb.org.
