from 11 April 2022 Onwards

The Employees Retraining Board (ERB) announces that ERB courses in classroom training mode and services will be resumed in phases starting from 11 April 2022 (next Monday) onwards to serve members of the public in need.

To strike a balance between safeguarding the public health and providing training to the public, in the first phase, ERB will resume classroom training of courses with classes yet to complete before suspension.  Subject to the pandemic development, ERB plans to commence new classes for all courses starting from 25 April 2022.  Meanwhile, ERB will continue to implement online learning arrangement and encourage training bodies to adopt the hybrid mode of classroom training and online learning where applicable.  ERB is currently offering around 400 online courses.

To safeguard the health of trainees, related persons and the general public, all training bodies offering classroom training must implement a host of precautionary measures in compliance with the latest “Guidelines on Precautionary Measures against COVID-19” issued by ERB.  Individual training bodies may adjust the class resumption arrangements with respect to their own situation and at their discretion.  In case of any changes, the latest information announced by the training bodies concerned shall prevail. 

Moreover, the ERB Siu Sai Wan office counter service and ERB hotline 182 182 (operating hours between 9am to 6pm from Monday to Friday), “Practical Skills Training and Assessment Centre”, “ERB Service Centre”, Regional Service Centres of “Smart Living” and office of “Smart Baby Care” will resume normal operation on 11 April 2022.
